All gift cards are digital and will be saved in your Gyft Wallet. If you sent a gift card to a friend, they will receive an email or SMS notification to help them claim the e-gift card in their Gyft Wallet.
All purchases made on the web or through Gyft mobile apps are final. Please see our terms of sale.
If your order was declined, you may see a pending charge on your bank or credit card account. This charge will be cleared typically within 7 days. This timeframe is dependent on your payment institution.
Orders are typically pretty instant, but there are occasions where it can take up to 24 hours to process. In most cases, processing times are much shorter than that. We appreciate your patience!
Bitcoin is a type of digital currency that makes it very easy to transfer money safely and securely. To buy with Bitcoin on Gyft, just choose Bitcoin as your payment method at checkout. Please note, some brands may not accept Bitcoin.

Currently you can only retrieve archived cards by logging into your Gyft account on the website. Use the same login on the web that you use for your mobile app. From the My Account section, navigate to Archived Cards. Select 'UNARCHIVE' on each card that you would like to put back in your wallet. This feature will be available on the mobile app soon!
When someone sends you an e-gift card, they’ll choose to notify you by email, by text message, or both ways. Here’s how to get your e-gift card depending on how you received it. If you are on the web or phone, and click the View Gift Card Details button. You will be directly taken to the gift card. If you are on your phone and clicked a link in a text message you will be taken to the gift card on your mobile web browser. If you received a Gyft Card you will be asked to create a Gyft account, if you do not have an existing one. The Gyft card will be transferred into your Gyft Balance, which you can use toward the purchase of a retailer listed on our website.
Once you are logged into your Gyft account on the website, visit the My Account section and select Track Sent Cards from the drop down.
Select upload from the bottom of the app and search for the retailer you want to add. If the retailer isn't listed, type the full name then click Add Card. Enter the gift card number and PIN with the amount. Tap Save Card. This feature will be available on the website soon!
For mobile app users, tap the gift card in your Gyft Wallet that you would like to redeem. Show the cashier the barcode so they can scan it. If there is no barcode, or the barcode is not scanning correctly, ask the cashier to manually type in the gift card number plus any additional PIN, access, or event code. For website users, tap the gift card in your Gyft Wallet that you would like to redeem and select Print Card. Show the cashier the printed copy of your gift card upon redemption.
To redeem a gift card online, tap the gift card in your Gyft Wallet that you would like to redeem. Click Reveal to see the gift code in the card details. Either write down the gift code and PIN, or copy the gift code onto your clipboard. Visit the retailer's website and choose the items you'd like to buy. For example, go to Walmart or Best Buy and add the products you want to purchase into your shopping cart. When you're ready to check out, type or paste the gift code into the GIFT CARD field, just like you would with a plastic gift card. TIP: Make sure that you remove any spaces from the gift code when you copy it over or type it into the retailer's shopping cart. Finish checkout and you're done. Mission accomplished!
Many of our retailers will update the balance when you select in the mobile app or on the web. If you experience a gift card that has an error while updating, that means the retailer does not allow balance checking. You can manually enter in the amount you spent by selecting the Update Balance button and entering the amount of your recent purchase. Gyft will calculate the remaining amount for you. We’re working hard to enable balance checking with more of our retailers. Stay tuned!
For your security, gift cards from your Gyft Wallet are never deleted for good. To remove gift cards from your Gyft Wallet, you can choose to archive them.
The Gyft Card is the perfect way to make sure your recipients get a gift they’ll love. You can use it to choose and buy e-gift cards from over 200 retailers on Gyft, including Amazon, Starbucks, Target, Whole Foods, Best Buy, and many more. Received a Gyft Card, but don’t know what the heck it is? You’re in luck! You’ve received a great gift. The Gyft Card is “The Gift of Choice”—Gyft’s own official gift card, which you can use to buy any e-gift card on Gyft.
Lucky you! You’ve received a great gift. The next step is to redeem your Gyft Card and add it to a Gyft account. Simply open your Gyft notification email or text and click the link provided. From there, create a free Gyft account or log in if you already have an account. We’ll automatically redeem your Gyft Card and add it to your Gyft Card balance.
A Gyft Card balance is the amount of value that is currently on a Gyft Card. You can use any amount of your balance to buy one or more e-gift cards on Gyft.
To reset your password, simply select the 'Forgot password?' option from the login page and then enter your email address. Passwords must contain at least 8 characters in length and 1 symbol character (!@#$%^).
If you received an error while resetting your password, chances are the reset password link might have expired. The email link only works once. Please request to have a new password reset link sent to you. You will receive a new email with a new password reset link to the email address associated with your Gyft account.
If you requested a new password but didn't receive your password-reset email, try checking your spam or junk mail folder in your email account. If you are still unable to locate it, try resetting your password again. Make sure your email provider is not blocking email traffic coming from Gyft.
The Gyft app is no longer available for download, but you can still access your wallet, balances, and purchases on the Gyft website for the best experience.
If the app isn’t working, do not try to reinstall it. Visit us on the Gyft website through a web browser on your phone or computer for your Gyft needs.
